Who we are

This site is run by The Oxford Talks Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 13643164, registered office Office 1.02 Chester House, 1-3 Brixton Road, London SW9 6DE. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

Using the site

You may browse, watch, and share links to anything on this site. You may not copy, scrape, reproduce, or redistribute the site or its content, interfere with how it works, or use it for anything unlawful. We may change or withdraw any part of the site without notice.

Talks and content

The talks, podcast episodes, films, photographs, text and design on this site belong to The Oxford Talks Ltd or to the people who licensed them to us. All rights are reserved.

The views in a talk are the orator's own. They are not advice, and they are not ours. Nothing on this site is an offer, a recommendation, or a promise of any result.

Talks are published on YouTube and episodes on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and YouTube. When you follow a link to one of those platforms, their terms apply.

Names and marks

The Oxford Talks logo is a registered trade mark of House of Oionx Ltd, used under licence. You may not use it, or anything confusingly similar, without written permission.

Independence

Oxford Talks is an independent, non-partisan media organisation. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the University of Oxford, the Oxford Union, Harvard University or TED. Oxford and Harvard are places where we film.

Applications

Applying to speak, to join the Fellowship, to curate a city, or to book the studio is an enquiry, not a contract. We choose who we work with. If we take an application forward, the terms of that work are set out in a separate agreement.

Liability

The site is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee either. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions: hello@oxfordtalks.io.
